spinach and pineapple juice

Q:

What do spinach and pineapple have in common?

A:

Nothing! Except the brilliance they bring to this quick delicious refreshing and nutritious juice!

{and maybe a few more things according to the links above...} 

I have made this juice every day this week! It's so good {for you} and easy to make!

Ingredients: 

{rough estimates)

6 slices pineapple (similar size to that pictured above)

2 {girl} handfuls of fresh spinach leaves

1/4 banana (optional--- I made it yesterday w/o and it was still delish!)

1/4 cup applesauce (optional---see above)

1/4 cup water

Blend till smooth and ENJOY!

4-25 (100 words or less...)

Our Wednesday adventures...

Nugget had her first trip to the library!

After the library, we ventured over to Seaport Village for some salty fishy fresh air.

We walked a bit, then nugget played in the grass...

Possibly because it's a rare event here in San Diego, but a run after a rain shower is somewhat zen-like.
The smells.
The random droplet of water still spitting from the sky { or falling from a palm frond...}
The splash of my sneaker  {tennis shoe?} {running shoe?} against the wet pavement...

Let's just say I was glad I made it out for a quick { or not so quick...} 3 miler before taking the nugget to sign language.

Long story ... Short

Cleaning took a {hairy, scuzzy, filthy...} precedence over my run this morning.

But oh my it was worth it!
Nugget had a full day playing on CLEAN floors!

Feeling guilty later, I decided to check out the neighborhood track.
Did some laps and called it a day.
{ had to give the new running shorts a whirl}

My last week running is a huge BLAH!

Hoping this week is the opposite.

Monday Motivator:

It was warm for about an hour, so the nugget went swimming...

Then the weather changed for the worse,  so we took a stroll...

The past 3 days, nugget and I have spent a considerable amount of time in the car.

Why?
Roofers.
And they are loud!
Bang! Pound! Zing!
So therefore , nugget naps in the car!
And mommy eats, drives, reads in the car { no worries, the latter done while parked}

The exciting news is we will have a bomb proof diggety new roof!!

So Wesnesday we found ourselves at Fiesta Island.

Taste of College

Mom, sis, hubs, nugget and I set out early Sunday afternoon to get our eat on. Our area {where we live} was having a taste of.

$25 = 4 hrs of gluttony.
Who could pass that up?! Not us!

We started at a place called the Egyptian Tea Room. Huge plate containing 3 different hummus', pita bread & olives.
{ unfortunately I didn't get many pictures b/c of my one track eating mind!}

The other establishments we tasted included:
